Pacific Beach

Wow - I am not sure that life gets better than this. Just a quick much needed vacation to the coast... This is the first sunset of the trip right from the 3rd floor balcony of our hotel ...- wow - just wow...

Then it was on to Old Town where we went to a haunted house, and one of my favorite bead stores... Lost Cities, we strolled through town and ate carnitas at the Mexican Cafe. Amazing crunchy carnitas and great margaritas! I found these gorgeous bougainvillea in bloom, and this flowering cactus:

And there was Kirk, waiting patiently for me - - even holding my purse... what a guy....

What a great little get-away... I sure needed it!
